Hello Citizens of Nellie.  As you probably know by now, Halloween is a big deal at Nellie.  Students dress up, PAC hosts a dance, activities are planned in the school and a huge celebration of learning occurs. It is a fun and light-hearted way for everyone to “play make-believe".  Parents are asked to monitor costumes and avoid having costumes that are too gory or too dangerous.  Props are also a concern.  Props such as swords, guns, pitch forks or any other type of weapon should stay at home.  Families who do not celebrate Halloween need to contact their child's teacher and myself so we may ensure that the learning for your child is not associated with the Halloween celebrations and activities.  Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!
