Nellie in the Know – May 24, 2024
We had another wonderful week at Nellie. Our grade ones had the opportunity to visit Fort Calgary now known as The Confluence. The name represents the Elbow and Bow River which is the meeting of two places. Thank you to our volunteers who make a huge difference in the lives of our students and note that our Volunteer Assembly will be on June 11 at 10:00am. Nellie is blessed to have so many people who give of their time and their talents. Thank you.
Have a Fabulous weekend!
May is Asian Heritage Month
In celebrating the beauty, culture, and diversity of Asian Heritage Month, the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre is hosting the Asian Heritage Month 2024 Celebration. More information and further opportunities can be found on the Asian Heritage Foundation YYC website.
