Nellie in the Know – April 19, 2024
Happy Friday Friends and Family of Nellie,
Another fantastic week at Nellie. The owl visit with our kindergarten students and our Spring Dance were certainly a couple of the major highlights of the week. Every week we are blessed to see the exceptional achievements of our Nellie students. Last Saturday we had seven students from our school attend the Calgary Youth Science Fair. They did an amazing job representing Nellie McClung.
Ronen (grade 6) - Silver
Jasmine J. (grade 5) - Silver
Minky & Eloise (grade 6) - Bronze AND won the AMPP Corrosion Engineers Award (plaques, names engraved in a trophy, and $125 each!!)
Saya - Honorable Mention
Jared & Niko - Honorable Mention
Congrats to them for all of their hard work and dedication!

PAC News
Our next PAC is 6:30 on April 25th. All families are welcome to attend. Pizza dinner and childcare is provided. The Grade One teachers will be presenting and I will be presenting the results from our School Engagement Survey.
