Happy Friday Citizens of Nellie!

WEEK IN REVIEW

  • Netball Alberta was in this week with their popular school clinic program, where their talented netball school clinician came to our school and teach netball during PE classes. This program allows students from across Alberta to be exposed to a sport focused heavily on teamwork, communication, and most importantly – having fun!  Netball aligns with Alberta Elementary PE outcomes by developing fundamental movement skills (running, jumping, passing), promoting teamwork & communication (passing, court roles, fair play), fostering tactical awareness (creating space, outwitting opponents, strategy), and improving physical fitness (agility, coordination, endurance), all within an inclusive, active, and fun team sport framework guided by Alberta Netball Association
You can see highlight photos, videos and reels of our netball residency and more on our school Instagram: NellieSpark
