Sharing Back | School Planning
Thank you to everyone who participated in our March school planning engagement survey. We had a total of 129 responses. We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. The feedback we received is compiled at the links below which are shared publicly on our website and will be thoughtfully considered in making decisions about school planning.
Register NOW for Kindergarten
Children must be at least five years old as of December 31 to start kindergarten in the fall of that calendar year. This means that a four-year old child may start kindergarten if they will turn five on or before December 31 of that calendar year. Please review the information on our Registration page to register for kindergarten now and follow the instructions. Nellie's Kindergarten Orientation will take place on Friday June 6, from 9:00-10:00am

The Week in Review
This last Thursday May 1 was Tsuut'ina Day, a holiday for members of the Tsuut'ina Nation. The date represents celebration and renewal in acknowledgement of a new life cycle following Winter's end. Tsuut’ina Day is an opportunity to honour Tsuut'ina Nation's rich history, culture, and achievements. A time to reflect on the nation's past, including its challenges and triumphs, Tsuut’ina Day fosters hope and optimism for the future of the Nation.
As partners in education, CBE celebrates this day with Tsuut’ina Nation. We invite all to review and reflect on the beautiful teachings of Tsuut’ina ninisha—the Tsuut’ina way of life—through the values of Dudguts’itstl’isi (bravery), Ik’asii (honesty), Iyats’ilini (humility), Nats’itsidi (strength), Atlits’i guts’ina-hi (sharing), Gutzanagha agunilini (kindness) and Anaguts’idiyani (wisdom).
