A reminder that there is no school on Thursday, Friday or Monday.
On Thursday and Friday we will all be attending Professional Learning sessions at Staff Association Convention and Teachers convention. Monday is Family Day Holiday and we wish all families a wonderful long weekend together!
Week in Review:
Our Jump Rope for Heart event was a huge success! During this week's Jump Rope for Heart assembly, students from each grade group showed off their skills and unique jump techniques including:
- the front cross;
- front-back cross;
- back cross;
- mad dog;
- side swing;
- double side swing &jump;
- behind-the-back pass
- under-the-leg pass! Pairs of students together demonstrated
- two-in-one rope side-by-side, and
- double dutch!

Also, since we reached our fundraising goal of $2000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, there will be an epic netball game - students against the teachers next Friday!

- Our Nellie School Council Casino Fundraiser 2025 is fast approaching on March 6th & 7th. We currently are still looking for 2 volunteers for the Friday shift from 7:15 PM - 3:15AM as chip runners/ cashiers. It would also be great to have a few more back ups for all of the shifts.
