Nellie in the Know Jan. 12 | Welcome Back! Jon Napps Visit, Math Challenge, Weekly Pics

Happy New Year Citizens of Nellie,

Welcome back!  Hope you had an amazing holiday season with family and friends!.

This week at Nellie we had the honour of having Jon Napps, New Zealand-born adventurer currently attempting to run across Canada alone, with no support team, raising funds and spirits for children fighting cancer.  His journey is inspired by Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope.

Jon stops at children’s hospitals along the route across Canada, visiting children in the cancer wards, while dressed as Superman!

Jon will be visiting the Alberta Children Hospital during his stop in Calgary

What an amazing inspiration to us all!

We wish Jon all the best on the continuation of his journey. If you would like to donate to Jon, attached is a link with his information; https://www.jonnabbs.com
