WEEK IN REVIEW

  • On Monday October 5, we proudly celebrated World Teachers’ Day and recognized the incredible dedication, passion, and care our staff bring to Nellie McClung each day. Teachers play a vital role in inspiring curiosity, supporting growth, and creating a positive learning environment where every student can thrive. We extend our sincere appreciation to our teaching staff for the difference they make in the lives of students and families every day. Thank you for all that you do!
  • Our School Council fundraising casino began on Thursday and continues through until late Friday night.  We extend our sincere thanks to all of the parent and community volunteers who generously gave their time to support this important fundraising opportunity. The casino is our largest fundraising event and the proceeds help enhance learning opportunities and experiences for Nellie students. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, commitment, and community spirit of everyone who helped make this event possible
  • This week, our learning teams finalized Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and Student Support Plans (SSPs) to help ensure students receiving specialized supports have clear, personalized goals and strategies in place for the year. We appreciate the collaboration of staff and families in this process and look forward to working together to support each student's growth, success, and well-being throughout the school year.
