Nellie in the Know Sept. 22
Hello Citizens of Nellie,
Thank you for an awesome week at Nellie. It was so nice to see all of the parents at Meet the Teacher. The close relationships the school and families have make such a difference in the achievement of our students.
The staff would like to thank all of the generous families who fed us Thursday evening. We are so spoiled! Thank you for the incredible spread…you are all too kind.
We look forward to our Indigenous Week next week. Indigenous artist and speaker Elizabeth Buller Page will be working with students and staff all week as we recommit to real truth and reconciliation. All students and staff are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on Thursday as we honour Orange Shirt Day!
Have a fantastic weekend!!!
Darren Dyck, Principal

Please have a look at all of the grade team pages and share them with your children. Students and staff regularly update teacher blogs with new information. You can also see updates, pictures and assigned school work in your child’s Google Classroom. Please ask your child what the login credentials are.
Terry Fox Run
Thank you all for your generous support of our Terry Fox Run. Last week we raised $1718.00 in support of cancer research as we supported the Marathon of Hope. Wow…we are so blessed to have such a generous community!
