Nellie in the Know Dec. 1 | Athletics Residency, Giving Tree, Concerts, School Council Meeting

Hello Citizens of Nellie,

Wow another fantastic week at Nellie.  Our athletic residency saw all students learn the fun and challenging game of Net Ball.  Speed, accuracy, agility and quick thinking is certainly a part of the game.  Thank you to PAC for funding this residency.  Everyone had lots of fun.

It takes a village to raise a child and to support a school.  Between the practicum students, the ball blower upers, the clothing packers, the one on one readers, the fun lunch deliverers and the bottle drive packers we were able to accomplish a great deal this week because of our loving and caring village.   Thank you so much for your dedication and commitment to this great school.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Darren Dyck, Principal

Snacks

Snacks are always needed at school.  If you are able to bring in granola bars, fish crackers, cheese strings or fresh fruit to help those students who do not bring snacks or lunches it would be greatly appreciated.

Giving Tree

Our hearts at Nellie are BIG! Over the years, Nellie families have supported other Nellie Families through the Giving Tree.  There are a number of families in our community who are struggling to make ends meet.  As a Nellie Community, in December, we come together and provide gifts food and any additional help for the families. Full details in link below.

If your family is in need please complete this document under Resources, email it to me, bring it into the school or come into the school and complete one here.  Our PAC is ready to mobilize and wants to get an early jump on gift purchasing.
